Who's Taylor Swift anyway? Ew...
I'm Virginia! 17, England.
I love Taylor so much, as pretty much all of us do. You can ask me anything (really, anything) and I promise I'll try my best to give you useful information.

I really resent the idea that if a woman writes about her feelings, she has too many feelings. And I really resent the ‘Be careful, buddy, she’s going to write a song about you’ angle, because it trivializes what I do. It makes it seem like creating art is something you do as a cheap weapon rather than an artistic process.

"This is a bit of a rebirth for me because it’s so new and I’ve never really made this kind of changes before, and having been born on December 13th 1989, this album is called 1989.”

One of the things you can expect is that I’m really trying to challenge myself in every single way possible to make music that doesn’t sound like music I’ve made before, when you get into the album there are a lot of late eighties sounds and vocal stylings and production elements. We were really just playing around with this album and didn’t limit ourselves, what ended up happening was we made an album that really sounds like an album, it’s really sonically cohesive, and I’m really proud of it.

Shake It Off | Taylor Swift

You’ve got to love Taylor Swift and what she has done. I equate her with Bruce Springsteen. I wrote a piece about her in Country Weekly magazine a while back, about an older guy’s feelings for Taylor Swift. I can’t identify too much with some of the songs she sings — I’m 65 years old, for crying out loud — but do I love her? Yes, I do. I think she’s a great example for kids these days. Do I think she’s gonna get bigger and bigger and bigger? I’d say the sky is the limit for Taylor.
